• Simple Technology, Inc. founded in Santa Ana, California
• Introduced line of memory products for PCs, notebooks, servers, printers and devices

1993
• Formed PCMCIA (PC Card) Division
• Expanded manufacturing facilities

1994
• Acquired Flash controller design team from Cirrus Logic (subsequently named Lexar)
• Established OEM Sales Division

1995

1996

• Acquired MemTech (Solid State Drive company) and ICSI (controller design company)
• Controller design company ICSI acquired

2006
• Introduced MACH1 line of Flash products
